Amana Hot (45 and 60 Minute Classes)
Amana Hot Yoga combines modern technology with the ancient discipline of yoga. Hot yoga is therapeutic in that it offers waves of energy that penetrate deep into the body(approx. 4 cm). The heat in the room gently elevates the body’s surface temperature and helps to detoxify at a cellular level while helping to reduce stress and improve your flexibility and strength.
There are multiple benefits to including Hot Yoga in your practice. You will experience better joint mobility, promotion of healing, reduced muscle stiffness and aided recovery, increased circulation, improved skin tone, and enhanced heart function. Adding Hot Yoga to your routine will of course make you break a sweat, but the best result is the release of ‘happy hormones’ like endorphins, serotonin, & dopamine and in turn reducing ‘stress hormones’ like cortisol.
