Let me tell you of my love of yoga. As a result of lifelong health challenges with my fibromyalgia, I was in search of a better way to live. Although gyms and fitness lessened the symptoms, I was still not pain-free, until I discovered yoga. I am living my passion now through yoga; I am energetic, have vitality, a clear mind and inner peace. I fell in love with yoga eleven years ago and have never turned back. I have studied my 200-hour teacher training course at Amana Institute as well as courses with other well-known instructors and was amazed at the balance and peace that yoga has brought into my own body and mind. I have found yoga seeping into my everyday life, whether on the mat or sitting in my car at a red light. Yoga has offered me great peace and understanding with which to go through life.

My teaching style is gentle yet challenging. My classes invite students to challenge themselves and to find their own practice through awareness of body, breath and mind. By observing these three areas within and of ourselves, we can begin to see how strongly we identify with our mind, our past experiences and our current life situation.

Personally, you can find me enjoying my grandchildren or chasing after a very energetic and rambunctious puppy. My daytime job as manager for the government keeps me busy as well. Yoga helps in all aspects of life!
