Jennifer Greenlaw

My earliest memories of yoga were from impressions made on me when I was very young through TV and articles in my mother’s grocery store magazines. I remember these bendy gurus who were not only flexible but seemed to be much more connected with their world than the world I saw daily.  I have always been interested in health and fitness. It wasn’t until I became a member of Amana Yoga that I considered actually teaching. I took part in their 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training and I am now a 500-hour Certified Yoga Instructor and the owner. I have a passion for all facets of yoga. I’m disciplined by the sutras, nourished by self-study, mentally focused through meditation and pranayama, physically moulded by the asana practice, and nurtured by our community.

Personally, I am Me. I AM. However, I come from a Marketing and Events background, working for such companies as Star Choice, The Saint John Regional Foundation, Brovada Technologies and Willis Towers Watson. I am an advocate for learning disabilities, a terrible golfer, a retired homeschool teacher, a pretty decent cook, and the owner of Amana Yoga.

Besides finding me at Amana, you’ll find me on occasional Monday nights volunteering my time at Lily Lake teaching community yoga classes to raise money for the Youth activities in Rockwood Park.
